Bunratty Mead, Castle and Folk Park |

Bunratty Mead is a traditional wine, produced from an ancient Irish recipe of pure honey, fruit of the vine and natural herbs. It's a medium sweet wine, with a wide taste appeal, and suitable for all important occasions. As the drink of the ancient Celts, Mead derives much of its appeal through Irish Folklore, which is legendary of this mystical drink with strong attachments to Ireland. At Bunratty Castle and Folk park Bunratty mead can be purchased and here you will explore three wonderful experiences – the acclaimed 15th century Bunratty Castle, the 19th century Bunratty Folk Park and the Village Street. |

Foynes – Home of The Irish CoffeeThe Irish Coffee was created in Foynes and here you can sample one of Irelands most famous drinks. It was created when a group of Americans arrived off a flight, that were cold, wet and hungry late at night. Chef Joe Sheridan put some whiskey in their coffees and thus was born one of the few drinks, whose origins are defined in time and place forever. Afterwards, the passengers asked if they were being served Brazilian coffee, but Sheridan replied "No it's Irish coffee !". |

Kilbeggan – One of The Worlds Oldest Licensed Distilleries |

The distillery was founded in 1757 Kilbeggan Distillery is the last remaining example of a small pot still whiskey distillery in Ireland. In 1982, the local people began restoring the old distillery and today it is open to the public as a Museum. The guided tour shows the ancient process of whiskey making from the mill stones, to the mash tuns, underbacks, fermentation vats and pot stills to the casking of the final product. The Museum also houses the Pantry Restaurant, as well as a Whiskey Bar and Gift Shop. |

The Guinness Storehouse |

Guinness is one of the most well known and famous drinks in the world. A visit to Ireland should include a visit to the Guinness Storehouse where the visitor can see how Guinness is made, learn the history of the drink and also enjoy spectacular views of Dublin city while enjying a glass of Guinness in the Gravity Bar. Old Bushmills Distillery |

Bushmills distillery is located in Co. Antrim and is near the Giants Causeway which can also be visited. The home of Irish Malt Whiskey, the Old Bushmills Distillery is said to be one of the oldest licensed whiskey distilleries in the world and it has been making whiskey since 1608. Single Malt Whiskies such as Bushmills and Black Bush are produced here and guided whiskey tours are excellent and are not be missed. |
